I’ve never had this before but saw the 9.5% and figured it was worth a try.

Fucking horrible. It’s so fucking sour. I thought it would have a sour aftertaste or hints of sour, but no it’s... I can’t even think of the exact candy that it tastes like. Sourer (is that a word) than a Sour Patch Kid. I remember there being a sour gumball that would leave a nasty taste in the back of your mouth. It’s pretty close to that. Shitty generic candy from the late 80's.

My wife sent me a picture of our backyard. I count 9. They look delicious.

My beer is not delicious. Hopefully they get better after a few.

There are very few really good sours out there. Most of them are truly intolerable.

I’m sure it’s only crazy sour just to mask the insane alcohol content. Sour Monkey used to just be 8%, too. lol Still better than four loko!

Lol. I actually like the pink lemonade four loko. But if  you drink two, you're seriously gonna crap your pants the next day. It's like a 12 hour later laxative.

My friend, you were on the right track with Victory but good gracious the sour is terrible. If you’re a tripel fan and enjoy some high proof you were so close to the Golden Monkey

I've had Golden Monkey before and it is good. I just opened the third sour turd and I probably won't finish it.

If you liked the monkey and are a tripel fan I'd recommend new Belgium Trippel or the hardywood peach tripel. Both treats.

agree - the whole hoppy sour or sour stout/porter thing is kind of disgusting...

The problem is that triple fermentation beers even if they are not sour are q ui te hard to drink, this one seems to have all the specs to be something hard/unpleasant to drink (triple fermentation, sour-bomb and very high alcohol ) , at least to my taste :)
